spanish rock band from Barakaldo (Basque Country), founded in 1985 by four young musicians strongly influenced by british punk rock from late 70s. The band remains active since then and got certain popularity with their second album "bronka en el bar". In their live performances they usually play covers of Toy Dolls and Peter and The Test Tube Babies, among other ones. Lyrical themes deal subjets such as: social issues, politics, personal issues, feelings, etc.

this is their successfull second album recorded in an Squatt from Bern (Switzerland) in april 1991 through record label "Gor". Parabellum abandoned here their typical 80s punk to sound softer, slower and more melodic, with elaborated guitar riffs and a sound closer to hard rock or classic rock, with original lyrics. The answer by both, audience and medias, was very good and after this one, they were several re-issues on CD and LP format. Spanish speakers listen to it still nowadays and Parabellum remain active playing live concerts, mostly in Spain and South America.

after their "hace falta?", which sounds perhaps too much melodic or closer to classic rock, Parabellum come back to their roots and recorded this "txarriboda" (slaughter), another great punk rock album with elaborated songs, strong guitars, changes of speed and excellent sound production. The album was well recived by their followers, medias and listeners.
