L'ODI SOCIAL was a hardcore punk band from Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain), founded in 1982 and remained active until 1992. They are considered one of the pioners hardcore bands in the spanish scene next to other names such as: Subterranean Kids, Accio Directa, Monstruacion, Anarkotiks, Anti-Dogmatikss or GRB. In this spanish scene, they are reminded, among other reasons, for being one of the first groups that used the catalan language in his lyrics and titles, apart its strong anarchist inspiration. During its existence, they released a five-song EP "Que pagui Pujol" (1986), later reissued with bonus tracks as LP and CD through label "Potencial HC" from Madrid city. In 1990 they recorded its second and last album trough basque label "Basati Diskak" and participated in various compilations, most cassettes such as: "Nicaragua Rock", "Rock Anti Mili", "NO 92" or "Resiste Cros 10" among other ones.

These outcasts, misfits, rageful and smart punks really kicked the system in a clever way. Probably the most outstanding hardcore band in the early eighties in Barcelona, along with Subterranean Kids and GRB, they did something never did before: using their mother tongue, catalan, in their lyrics. This CD includes their first and legendary single "Que pagui Pujol" + extras, "Esventats" LP and some live tracks. All stuff was remastered and modified to better audition.
