The Radicts started out in the early 90's in New York City, when punk had nothing but one leg to stand on. They exploded onto the hardcore punk scene, starting out playing squats, counter-culture places and eventually moving music back into the clubs. With their brand of Oi!, the Radicts set out to unify all scenes and give hope to all scenes and bands around the world. After a split LP called Skins and Punks Vol. 5 on Capt. Oi records, they released their full-length debut record called "rebel sound" on Noiseville Records. They pressed only 1.000 copies of Rebel Sound, making it extremely rare nowadays. Their music is a balance between The Clash, Sham 69 and The Jam, at the same time. Mixing smart and clean rock music with intelligent and sometimes political lyrics. But the most important thing in The Radicts is they sound real, sing real lyrics and also dress as real street boys. Nothing to do to poser skinhead, plastic punk or empty lyrics, this music born from the soul, heart and mind. Excellent album despite is their only one.
