Serious tribute band formed in 2005 by Dikkie Smid, Petur De Boer and Vaginal Davis which is a fun parody and not offensive tribute to BLACK FLAG, recording this only album with ten tracks frankly very well made in 2006. The musicians are true gays and joined the movement called "Queer-Core" started in San Francisco late 80s, represented by names quite famous like Pansy Division, Gayrilla Biscuits, The Dicks, Limp Wrist, The Butchies, Youth of Togay, Fifth Column, Homomilitia and a long list of names. Strictly musical BLACK FAG are a bit different of the rest of the queer-core bands because they really have a very good technical level, sound production and a way to make Black Flag songs almost identical, like real clones. So they are probably the best Black Flag tribute band ever.

Loose Nut is the fifth full-length album released in 1985 by Black Flag on SST Records. The album is noteworthy in the Black Flag catalogue for introducing a more commercial sound to their already gestating jazz heavy metal hybrid. In some ways, it is a fusion of the jazz punk style of Slip It In and the jazz metal of In My Head.

"In my head"
Year:  1985
Label:  SST
Format:  CD , LP
Tracks:  12
Time:  32 min.
Genre:  rock
Style:        Punk

In My Head is the sixth studio album released by Black Flag. All of the music was written by guitarist Greg Ginn, who intended to record it as his first solo album. After hearing the band rehearsing the album, singer Henry Rollins wrote lyrics for several of its songs. Many fans consider this record to be perhaps their best album musically. This is a sentiment shared by Kira Roessler, who played bass on the record, according to the biography of "Spray Paint the Walls, The Story of Black Flag" written by Stevie Chick (The sentiment in question being located on pages 374-375 of the aforementioned book). The album represents Black Flag's final stylistic change, to free jazz and hardcore punk influenced heavy metal. It was released in 1985 on SST Records, and was their final album before their reunion in 2013. The CD reissue adds three of the four songs from the I Can See You EP, replicating the original 1985 cassette release which came out concurrent to the LP.

Time:  40 min.
Genre:  rock
Style:        Punk

"Slip it in" is the fourth studio album by the hardcore punk band Black Flag, released in 1984 on SST Records. "Slip it in" is an extension of the sound Black Flag utilized on its predecessor My War: heavy, cathartic, intense, dense and progressive. At this point, Black Flag was considered by many to be one of the leading bands of the american punk scene. The album pursued the newer, lengthier song arrangements that Black Flag would develop until its demise. It also features Henry Rollins' further development as a songwriter, contributing four of eight tracks on the album. This album also demonstrates Black Flag’s increasing use of instrumentals, where Greg Ginn demonstrates his increasingly more complex playing style.

"my war"
Year:  1983
Label:  SST
Format:  CD , LP
Tracks:  9
Time:  38 min.
Genre:  rock
Style:        Punk

"my war" is the second studio album by California punk band Black Flag. It polarized fans on its release in 1984 on SST Records over the hardcore with unorthodox solo that made up side A and the LP's B-side, on which the band slowed down to a sludge metal, Black Sabbath-esque trudge laden with lyrics of self-hatred. This was in stark contrast to the reputation the band had earned as leaders in fast hardcore punk on its first album Damaged (1981). Despite the controversy of the release it has since went on to become a sludge influence on noise-rock and stoner rock.

After a period of legal troubles which prohibited the band from using its own name on recordings, Black Flag returned to the studio with a new approach to its music that incorporated a greater variety of styles, resulting in a sound orthodox punks found difficult to accept. The line-up had shrunk from five members to three: vocalist Henry Rollins, drummer Bill Stevenson, and co-founding guitarist Greg Ginn. Ginn doubled on bass guitar under the name "Dale Nixon" for the recording as he had pushed out co-founding bassist Chuck Dukowski shortly before recording; the album includes two tracks Dukowski wrote.

The six tracks on the A-side of the LP are generally high-paced, featuring guitar solos unusual in punk. On the B-side are three tracks in a sludge metal style, each breaching six-minutes with ponderously slow tempos and unrelenting dark lyrics of self-hatred. The band members had grown their hair long when they toured the album in 1984, further alienating their hardcore punk fanbase (*review by Gluey Porch ).

Damaged is the debut studio album by the hardcore punk band Black Flag. It was released on December 5, 1981 through SST Records. Over the years since the album's original release it has been recognized as a punk classic and one of the most influential punk records ever made by appearing on a number of "best of" lists by punk fans and critics alike. In 2003, the album was ranked number 340 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Pitchfork Media also ranked it number 25 on its list of the Top 100 Albums of the 1980s. Kurt Cobain listed it in his top fifty albums of all time.

This is just an unofficial compilation with the 16 first tracks of the band. So here there is just and only punk-rock from late 70s, nothing about jazz punk, experimental punk or spoken words. The techncal level of the band is very low and also the quality sound production is frankly low... but I liker very much despite this facts because it sound fresh and spontaneaous.

INSECT WARFARE may arguably be one of the world’s premier Grindcore bands but mastermind Beau Beasley is hardly given to any rock star posturing when we sit to talk at La Tapatia. “All I do is go home, read, and play guitar. You know, I’m just a 25-year-old loser who dropped out of college and works in a record store. When I write songs, I write songs for me. I write about anger and frustration, not that I’m angry all the time, but I want the music to sound rough. I don’t write poetry or draw so this is how I cope with life. It’s a reflection of how I feel; I play music as a direct result of things in my life. I don’t care about politics or animal rights...this is just normal stuff – feeling like a loser, lonely, frustrated…I’m not anyone special this is just the way I deal with it.”

NunSexMonkRock is the debut studio album by German singer Nina Hagen. It was released on June 12, 1982 by CBS Records. It marked Hagen's first release since her departure from the Nina Hagen Band and was also her first album with all songs in English language. Hagen recorded the album in New York City with Mike Thorne and collaborated with musicians Paul Roessler, Ferdi Karmelk, and Karl Rucker when writing the songs for the album. The lyrics deal with various themes including motherhood, religion, drug abuse, and UFOs. Musically, NunSexMonkRock is a goth rock with influences of post-punk and new wave music. Upon its release, NunSexMonkRock received mixed reviews from music critics. While some praised Hagen's theatrical vocals, others criticized its experimental production. Rolling Stone called it the "most unlistenable" album ever made. Commercialy, the album achieved a moderate success. Upon its release, NunSexMonkRock received mixed reviews from music critics. Bil Carpenter at AllMusic gave it four and a half star out of five, calling it an "eccentric rock material" and praising Hagen's vocal diversity. Robert Christgau commented that "she does have a new-wave sense of humor - instead of taking on Maria Callas with her umpteen-octave range she does impressions of Linda Blair and Mercedes McCambridge.

"ekstasy"

Format:  CD, LP
Tracks:  9
Time:  35 min.
Genre:  rock
Style:         New Wave

"In Ekstasy" is the third studio album by german singer NINA HAGEN, released on January 10, 1985 by Columbia Records. "In Ekstase", a german version of the album, was released the same year. It is her last album to be released on the Columbia Records label, before her recording contract expired in 1986. The album is mainly produced by Adam Kidron and was recorded in the island of Eivissa (Spain) and Paris. Hagen worked with Karl Rucker and Billy Liesegang and wrote most of the songs on the album. Unlike her previous disco-influenced album "Fearless" (1983), "In Ekstasy" is musically more heavy metal (guitar riffs) with elements of dance music (rhythmic section). It contains cover versions of Frank Sinatra's "My Way" (like Sid Vicious cover) and Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky". Next to NINA HAGEN there were 11 musicians to play the rest of the instruments: chorus, keyborads, piano, electronic effects, guitar, etc. After its release, "in Ekstasy" received mixed reviews from the critics and although it was released during the rise of Hagen's popularity in USA, the album was not a big commercial success. She appeared as a guest on many television shows, including Late Night with David Letterman and The Merv Griffin Show, where she promoted the record. In January 1985, she performed at one of the largest music festivals in the world, "Rock in Rio", where she performed most of the songs from the album. The lead single "Universal Radio" became a discotheque / club hit, peaking at number 39 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs.

Yes it's true, this is not a joke, in 1997 NINA HAGEN new album shocked everybody because the german artist repeated an disk in the vein of her two first albums, so, punk rock and perhaps some new wave influences too. No electronic effects here, no synth drums... nothing but rock sound and rock compositions. Some tracks were written even by own Dee Dee Ramone, another one by Lou Reed and few by NINA HAGEN herself. Neither agressive nor lo-fi sound, because the quality production is quite clean and high and there are some reggae songs, a balad and something more. But I frankly was surprised when I listened to this album after ten years with do know nothing about Hagen and her "dance" or "electro" music in her latest recordings.

"return of mother"
Year:  2000
Label:  Universal
Format:  CD
Tracks:  9
Time:  40 min.
Genre:  electronic
Style:        Goth Rock

It had indeed been a few years since Nina Hagen's last regular album ("Freud Euch" and its English version "Bee Happy" in 1995), so there was reason enough to be curious about what the title of the new album, Return of the Mother, might portend. It turns out that the whole album is devoted to balancing the ambivalence contained in that title: the possible sinister undercurrent as well as the advent of sheltering care. The mother figure of the title track is revealed to mean a kind of caring divine principal, not bound to any one religion but common to all. Throughout the album (mostly sung in German but with English interjections) lots of well meaning good advice to humanity gets contrasted with none too clear warnings, all set on a musical backdrop of often sinisterly weighty and elaborate dance/rock arrangements. Early on, "Schachmatt" concentrates the combination of apocalyptic outlook and plea for change, but a number of songs veer off to scenarios of their own. Two of them are covers of songs from the repertoire of Zarah Leander, transposing them from pre-war Berlin to the dancefloors of the 21st century. "Poetenclub" is a unique kind of tribute to Austrian singer Falco who died in 1998: using samples of his voice we get a sort of dialogue between Nina Hagen and him, to underscore how souls live on. It's more of a meditation than a song, and that points to what has to be said that the album lacks: tunes. As usual with Nina Hagen, her energy is all over the place, she remains a unique, ever-changing vocal powerhouse, but melodic content just isn't a strength of this particular album. Even so, "Schüttel Mich," a fun and funky song of seduction, has hit quality, and when the electronics make way for a non-synthetic percussive backing on the Hindu chant of the closing "He Shiva Shankara," the album finds a distinctly melodic ending (*review by Alan Severa ).

"unity"
Year:  2022
Labell:  Grönland
Format:  CD, LP
Tracks:  12
Time:  45
Genre:  electronic
Style:        Avantgarde

Unity is a rock pop album with country and electronic elements and among its themes are biblical miracles and politics. The album is the singer's first studio album since Volksbeat in 2011 and her first album featuring English songs since 2010's Personal Jesus. It was released on streaming platforms, CD, LP and also on limited edition purple coloured vinyl LP.

Album opener "Shadrack" tells the Bible story of three Hebrew men saved by God from death. "United Women of the World" was co-written by Jamaican singer Liz Mitchell and English-American singer Lene Lovich and was described in a press statement as "a feminist punk reggae anthem of solidarity".

The reggae-influenced title-track features George Clinton and is a homage to the Black Lives Matter movement. It was written after the murder of George Floyd. Hagen said the song is "about the indestructible dream of charity. From the longing for human values, for social unity and justice.” The song quotes the Coretta Scott King line from the book My Life with Martin Luther King Jr.: "Freedom is never really won. You earn it and win it in every generation."

"16 Tons" is a cover of the 1946 folk classic "Sixteen Tons", telling the story of the Kentucky coal miners who worked themselves to the bone. The song “Atomwaffensperrvertrag” is explicitly political and samples a speech Hagen gave in 2009 at the United Nation Freedom Festival and a United Nations speech from American politician Dennis Kucinich.

The album features the cover of "Redemption Day" by Sheryl Crow and a German cover of "Blowin' in the Wind" by Bob Dylan (“Die Antwort weiss ganz allein der Wind”). "It Doesn't Matter Now" is a duet with Irish singer Bob Geldof.
