MISERY is one of the longest running "punk" bands of our time. This includes never having a line up change, and sticking to their diehard beliefs of peace and exposing the world of it's horrors, which is easily emphasized in the band's name. Although MISERY, in the beginning, had Al Long doing vocals (1987), prior to his departure toplay in NAUSEA. The members never moved from their initial positions in the band, but rather all members took leads in doing vocals. Needless to say, this took Misery to an even bigger sound, and mightier tone. MISERY defines the epitome of the crust, punk sound that emerged from the 80's. They've always stuck to their roots, honed their skills, and led others into today's hardcore, punk ethos's and intense driving sounds. Misery has never had the intention of guiding anyone, but rather utilize individual thought and working for a greater peace in the world.
