Militant vegan straight edge band from Syracuse, New York - USA fronted by vocalist Karl Buechner. EARTH CRISIS started out as a aggressive and simple hardcore band in 1991. Over time they evolved their sound towards a much heavier, slowier, metal style. The majority of their releases have been released through "Victory Records". This album was an important change of view of hardcore music next to the band SNAPCASE and REFUSED.

Second assault in the same style of its precedent album "Gomorrah´s season ends" aka again slow and heavy rhythms, metallic guitars and straight edge thematic lyrics. These are my two favourite EARTH CRISIS album with no doubt. Then, late 90's, they were a true different and modern point of view of hardcore music. Despite its sympathy for label "Victory Records" here the band decided to deal with major label "Roadrunner Records". Excellent album too.
