The Bayonets is a four piece band, who play some kind of melodic punk rock with strongly political lyrics. They formed in Novi Sad city, Serbia, in 2004. As they
say, they are "too soft for punk, too rough for melodic rock". They sing in english and sound closer to bands such as: The Clash, Newtown Neurotics or The Jam, with some little ska touches, with the utilisation of sax and trumpets in some songs. Truly well done recording in many aspects (sound production, technical level, composition, lyrics, etc.). Highly recommended for those fans of classic street rock.
