This is the CAMERA SILENS debut album from 1984, and I think is essential and must band when we talk about french punk and skin-head culture. I personally listened to them few months ago, but just at first listen and liked. Do not sound exaggerated and ultra-violent Oi! as some "ambiguous" bands (Combat 84, Condemned 84, etc.) but more like bands closer to the classic 1977 rock sound and also closer to socialism political stance, something like The Clash, Newton Neurotics or Red London. CAMERA SILENS have written some songs about Saturday night parties or the taste of beer, but they are not at all a nihilist, individualistic and pessimistic side to any adverse situation. The band transmits throught its music a kind of force of resistance to adversity. As I mentioned before, this was his debut album and I think it is the best of his discography, the most fresh and young. The band started its activity in 1981 in Bordeaux and decided to disolve in 1989.
