The Bristles is a veteran raw punk band formed in 1982 from Landskrona, Sweden. The band broke up in 1985. In 2008 reunited. In 2010 the album Reflections Of The Bourgeois Society was out, In 2012 the band’s 2:nd album, Bigger than Punk, was released. In 2014 the cassette EP "Val" was out and now the the new album "last days of capitalism" is out late 2015, 23 Oct. The band name comes from GBH debut album "leather, bristles, studs and acne" and in effect their music style is very influenced by fast punk early 80 such as: Discharge, GBH, The Exploited, Chaos UK and similars. The Bristles are not a political militant band in the sense of CRASS, for example, but they have affirmed some principles and ideas as: anti-fascism, anti-racism or pro- animal liberation, to mention just a few ones. It's clear and more than obvious the band has not the goal to got money making punk music, and everybody can to download their complete discography in this official Bandcamp .

"bad driving"
Year:  2017
Country:  Netherlands
City:  Amsterdam
Label:  TNS
Format:  CD , LP
Tracks:  17
Time:  36 min.
Genre:  rock
Style:        Punk        Hardcore

I still wondering with these veteran musicians who started this new band in 2010 in their born city Amsterdam. Until date they has recorded an EP plus a debut album, and now this new second album which contains seventeen songs with the best of punk rock and hardcore in the californian style, in the sense this is optimistic, positive, fast and light. Yeah light, fast and really short as the pioners bands from 1981 or 1982. It seem is enough to listen to two or three albums from that period, perhaps Minor Threat and Black Flag? hardcore, punk and also a bit of classic rock'n'roll touches to achevied this great album. Simple, direct, noisy and great.
