GOOD CLEAN FUN “Give blood“ – When this band is mentioned normally people say they were a “joke” band, but in actuality they used irony and a pen as their weapon. Another fun listen if you’ve never heard them before. They are not the typical extremist "straight edge" band that makes this ideology (optimistic attitude in life) into something intolerant, close-minded, conservative, reactionary and sometimes (few) even violent. I think GOOD CLEAN FUN follows in the footsteps of the first bands in the local scene of Washington (Minor Threat, Teen Idles, SOA, etc..). And not only are a pacifist group, but they also write lyrics with good sense of humor, irony and jokes. Musically make pure and simple hardcore with some slow parts more "new school". This recording include the album plus an EP. Is good.

EQUAL VISION RECORDS is an independent hardcore / punk label founded in the early 90's by Ray Cappo solely to distribute releases from his band, Shelter.  In 1992 the label was sold to former Youth Of Today roadie, former "Revelation Records" employee and "Equal Vision" label manager Steve Reddy and began releasing music from a variety of other bands.
