We here at "Three Dimensional Records" are excited to announce the first 12" from
the best Mod band left standing in Minneapolis: Real Numbers. Every detail
of this record was meticulously crafted and it shows. Quality control is
the name of the game here: Real Numbers took their best 14 songs and
put 'em on an LP spinning at 33 rpms for maximum volume and excitement.
There's narry a duff cut, and the quality of songwriting on display is
going to surprise a lot of people. From would be hit singles like "Might
I See You Tonight" to more nuanced DIY-type tunes like "No Exceptions"
every song on here is great. In an era full of overhyped disposable pap,
this is one record that is going to stand the test of time. Im affraid here there is almost nothing to do with Mod 60s but more Mod 79 and punk-rock oriented. Short songs, simple, direct and with few distortion which remind old surf-rock? Great album.
