Born the protection of the hardcore scene, they started as Social Justice and practiced old-school hardcore punk music . The

is a relentless fusion : rap, hardcore, punk, metal and subtly inroads
with other genres such as reggae or alternative rock. are arguably one of the best hardcore, rap, metal, crossover bands doing in the world. this album was released by the label "Mercury" (Universal Music) and few years after they worked also next to "Epitaph Records" from Berkeley, CA. In 2009 they disbanded to come back in 2014 with new studio album, world tour, etc.

After four studio albums and ten years of intense activy DOWNSET decided to disbanded in 2004. But in 2014 for surprise of everybody, the band come back with new album, world tour, etc. The band's music blends rap, funk, hardcore, punk and heavy metal with "socially aware lyrics". This fifth album continue more or less their usual style, with perhaps a little bit slower tempo, with the exception of "Why we can't wait", which sound as classic fast, simple and direct old-school hardcore.
