THE ACCUSED formed in 1981 in Oak Harbor (Washington) by bassist Chibon "Chewy" Batterman, guitarist Tom Niemeyer, drummer and singer Dana Collins John Dahlin as a punk-hardcore band with positive / optimistic ideology (non intolerant and non violent). Over the years their sound experimented a development towards faster and closer to thrash metal style, then called "crossover", as bands such as DRI, Corrosion Of Conformity, Verbal Abuse or Agnostic Front. This album and the next (the last) are the closer to metalized sound of all THE ACCUSED discography and also the best well produced and with highest technical level. The band had here 20 years of activity and its members can to demonstrate their musical talent. The band disbanded in 1992 and returned in 2006. Hardcore well done: fast, light and direct.

Perhaps not their best album but the most famous, and well know for the
majority. Obsviously the artwork (cover, back and inside) are an
excellents illustrations which have kept with the pass of the years.
Musically this is a fistful songs of typical american hardcore punk from
the 80's decade. Faster and crudest than other bands as Minor Threat or
Black Flag, but simply hardcore. Good hardcore of course!
