Red Hare is Shawn Brown, Dave Eight, and Jason Farrell (all formerly of Washington band: Swiz), and Joe Gorelick. The band has recorded one full-length, "nites of midnite", and a single, "lexicon Mist", both released in a collaboration between "Hellfire" and "Dischord Records". Red Hare notably features Swiz, Bluetip, Garden Variety, Retisonic, Jesus Eater, etc... members. The answer of both, audience and medias, was excellent and general opinion is Red Hare could be a new Fugazi, Bluetip or At-The Drive In. The band mix several influences such as: punk, alternative, emo... also called simply: post-hardcore, with intelligent lyrics around social issues, politics and personal emotions.
