Formed in Sheffield in 2005 with the intention of recreating the authentic flavour of the seminal punk bands of the late 70s, three old friends, Mr Keef and Chris (The Grind/Rocket Scientists) and Muzz (Artery/Death Trash) teamed up with drummer Mike. Countrywide gigs soon followed with the "aural graffiti" and "wish you were here?" EP’s released on The Fuckwits own label in 2005 and 2006. In 2010 they recorded their debut album and later, in 2017, their second one. The Fuckwits are a four-piece punk rock band who is strongly inspired by The Clash, both, musically and ideologically. Incorporating to their sound various influences as reggae, ska or rock'n'roll. They have already played next to bands such as: The Damned, Buzzcocks, Chelsea, The Slits, The Rezillos, The Vibrators, 999, One Man Army... amongst others, throughout the UK and Europe.
