The Naive group was founded in the autumn of 1988 by Maxim Kochetkov and Alexander Ivanov. In
1989 she joined the Moscow Rock Lab, in the same year she released her
demo album “Juan-Dzy Goes to Tambov”, and in 1990 she released her first
album “Switch-Blade Knaife” on the American label “Maximum Rock'N'Roll. The
debut album of the Naive group “Switch-Blade Knaife” for months was
held in the charts of national radio stations and took the sixth place
in sales among the most popular in the USSR albums of punk-rock bands. Following
the second album of the group “Beer for Naiva” followed a tour of
European countries, organized by the Danish company Subvert Productions
in 1993: Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Holland,
Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Italy - in a total of 40 concerts (of which 10 with the Coffin Break from Seattle and one in Berlin with the Coffin Break and DOA). In May 2017, Alexander “Chacha” Ivanov announced the name of the new album. According
to Alexander “Chachi” Ivanov, several songs on the future album will be
devoted to President Trump, but, as the artist noted, “Naiv” will not
ignore Russian politicians. The album will be called "Make Naïve great again".
