Radkey is an afro-punk band from St. Joseph, Missouri that is made up of three
brothers. Dee Radke is the lead guitarist and vocalist, Isaiah is the
bass player and middle brother, and Solomon is the drummer and youngest
brother. In late 2014, the band relocated to the nearby metropolis of
Kansas City. 2015 debut album from the St. Joseph, Missouri -based alt-rock trio. When an unsigned band from the American Midwest with an age range from 15 to 19 earns a spot on Later with Jools Holland, you know something special is going on. With each new EP and single, anticipation for the release of Radkey's debut album has been growing. Now the wait is over. Dark Black Makeup was produced by Ross Orton (Arctic Monkeys, The Kills, Drenge) in San Francisco and Sheffield. Radkey have evolved a distinctive sound. They started with a punk base and gathered power and tightness with each new tour.
