Geoffrey Oi!cott – everyone’s favourite sports themed Oi! band – are
back , and with “No 1 Hits” become the first band in the world to do a
tribute album to themselves “as no one else was going to do it”. Since
the release of the debut "the good the bad and the googly", the band
have found themselves mentioned numerously in the national press such as
The Daily Mirror and BBC2 TV due to recording the walk on music for BDO
Darts World Championship Quarter Finalist Garry Thompson (“Glory Glory
Garry Thompson” – which is included on this album) as well as
mentions/features in publications such as NME, Vice and The Guardian as
well as several plays and mentions on Steve Lamacq’s 6 Music show.
