We have before us the third album of those of Vallecas No Konforme. The new installment is entitled "Delicias de Una Falsa Democracia", an album of thirteen songs produced by Kosta Vázquez (Boikot), who performs some of the choirs of the album, at Oasis Studios in Madrid. Punk training has waited almost three years to give birth to this new work that comes from the hand of Rock State Records.
The first song that we find is "They say" and from the first moment they become quite assertive as they have always done with their lyrics. This time they give wax to those above. Then follows "The Resistance" with a very strong choirs and a battery that remains with feet of war marking again and again the direction where the song has to go. Well here they get in full with the system we have today. "Vallekas" is a tribute to that neighborhood in Madrid that has seen them grow up in its streets, where good parties have gone into the body. Well here we find the collaborations of the winds section of The Locos: Juanan Rivas and Diego and Perrin de Suzio 13 to the keyboards. In this theme we find Ska rhythms that will make us dance. "Alas De Papel" is the theme chosen to produce the first video clip of this third album. In this song they deal with a topic as much to the order of the day as is school bullying. Anticipating the last part of the song, we find some rapping phrases.
In "Ashes of Capitalism" has collaborated Placi de Segismundo Toxicomano. We are facing a subject a little rougher and faster by parts. It also has more character and attitude. It is here that we begin to see the evolution of No Konforme, the fruit of the effort and work during the making of this new album. In "Los Que Van A Morir" they have had Juanan and Diego from The Locos. It is one of those songs that shows the essence that the band has been marking since its inception. We return to see the outstanding choirs that usually accompany them. "Seremos Millones" is a tribute to Berta Cáceres for all the work that the Honduran activist did for the environment. Here the bass is more accurate, but when the guitars are combined with the drums, the riffs of the guitars and the power are even more accentuated. "Batallas Perdidas" is influenced by the American punk and has a more catchy melody and a refrain easy to recognize perfect to take it to live.
In "Refugiadxs" they had Ángel de Envia Kotxina. It has a mixture between more raw parts and more melodic parts and all seasoned with a letter where they show us another raw reality, how hard life is for many and what they have to do to survive, to the point of crossing the other side of the Mediterranean to reach Europe to try to find a way out. On the other hand, guitars and bass are warming up engines to make way for cut ten, "They lie to us", another of those very current themes for the content of their lyrics. On this occasion they refer again to those who govern us, who do not stop deceiving the people. Here they are throwing a Punk Rock of bands like EUKZ, for example. We reached the final straight with three last songs. First we find "Falsos Ricos", where we find some guitars and a drum set with choirs that are the key and enhance the house's melody and that are introducing more and more. Then we went to a subject with influence of Gatillazo, "Perros de Prensa". Maybe their rhythms are somewhat faster in some places. Once again we see how the bass is taking more power and making a hole. Finally, only "The Ghosts" remains. This appetizer has a catchy chorus, which hooks. With it they roc-roll that gives pleasure and in it we find influence of the melodic punk (*Review by Gloria A. B ).
