Only two listeners have been enough to realize that this "Erraiak" of Bultz is not another album. The formation of Bizkaia Bultz formed by Xabier Arrieta on drums, Liher Larrañaga on guitar and vocals, Xabier Gallastegi on guitar and Jon Ander Areizaga on bass, presents a complete work composed of twelve insurgent punk rock songs sung at Euskera "Erraiak" is the debut album by Bultz, an album that contains pieces like "Gerraren kronika idatzia", "Oroimenean" and "Sutan hiria". Twelve songs of melodic punk rock with North American influences that deal with close themes such as macho violence, the situation of Basque prisoners or friendship, and that have seen the light thanks to the support given by theirs in the crowdfunding campaign launched by the band at the beginning of 2019. Bultz were in charge of elaborating in 2019 the official theme of the solidarity festival 40 Minutu Rock, a song in which they have the participation of Josune Arakistain and Uxue Amonarriz (Huntza). Bultz mixes in his compositions punkrockero rhythms with direct lyrics and all the themes of this "Erraiak" are highly attractive. Throughout the disc we found that the quartet gives continuity with its new themes to the journey made in previous projects such as Pixontxis, Kruders and Iheskide. In just two years of activity Bultz has created one of the most complete albums that have come to my hands in recent times. A work recorded and mixed in the Higain Studios of Usurbil (Gipuzkoa) by Haritz Harreguy and mastered by Juan Hidalgo, in Mastertips (Madrid) and that will undoubtedly give much to talk about. Mature music and intelligent lyrics which can to remind bands as The Clash, Rancid or Social Distortion.
